To honor its rich history and ensure it’s preserved for future generations, we’re excited to introduce the Legacy Library Campaign.

What is the Legacy Library Campaign?

The Legacy Library Campaign is an initiative to collect, preserve, and share the stories of those buried at Mount Hope Cemetery and other local African American cemeteries in Jefferson and Berkeley Counties, WV.

Through this campaign, families who have ancestors resting at an historically black cemetery in Jefferson or Berkeley County WV will have the opportunity to turn their old photos, videos, and stories into professionally crafted multimedia presentations that celebrate the lives and legacies of their loved ones.

2. For a fee of $299, your Legacy Consultant will work with you to create a personalized multimedia presentation, including photos, videos, and stories.
3. Once completed, your presentation will be featured in the Legacy Library on the Mount Hope Cemetery website, as well as on social media platforms, where it can be shared and enjoyed by others.
